Can someone give me Martin Nolans number?

I've two fucking busted amps.Need to have at least one running.

I REALLY NEED TO UPGRADE TO A VALVE AMP too.But for now,and for the last 20 years I'm a transistor loser.

Two quick questions please.

a) Please see fig a and fig b below. Do you think I need to replace the tube that's not lighting up?

b) If yes, would it be feasible to do this myself or is it complicated? I'm sure I can get the instructions off the internet, but not sure if it's worth the hassle. It's a Fender Blues Jnr amp.

First of all open it up and and make sure the tube is seated properly, it could be just loose. If the tube is gone you either have to replace just the one, a pair or all the tubes. The replaced tube(s) may then need biasing. It all depends on the amp. I'm sure a quick google search will tell you.

buy a matched pair and replace both if moose's trick doesn't work...

The photos might be a bit misleading, but it's a blues jnr alright - almighty hum off it. Will do re the EL84s, cheers.
