amp repair in dublin (2 Viewers)

Another guy is Conor Farren - he does Music Maker repairs. I don't know his number but his workshop is on Abbey st just opposite the Luas stop.

Theres a guy in Beaumont that fixed Garys JMP's whose supposed to be really good too but I lost his number so maybe Gary will oblige.

2 bad experiences

1/ Fender Princeton 65W - belonging to a mate who was out of the country. The speaker on the amp blew and he asked me to drop into them to fix. Did so and the speaker blew a few months later. Dropped it back to them and I get a phonecall from the repair guys saying "Some idiot has installed a 30W speaker in this amp". My mate arrived back and was going to take them to the small claims court over it but never got round to it.

2/ Latex Lizzie left his bass amp down in our (damp dusty) space way and it blew a speaker. We (HGF) dropped into Soundgear to get it fixed seeing as it was our responsibility. The amp seemed fixed. It died on Lizzie, he and GrrrrrR brought it to somewhere to get it fixed - same problem: They put too small a speaker in as a replacement.
