Greetings and Salutations!
I produce and present a student radio show in Belfast: it mostly focuses on cutting edge alternative dance/rock/hip-hop and all its sub-genres. However, I do a feature of playing 3 or 4 independent records on every show- so what I'd like you to do is send me your CDs! It's probably best to send your 3 best songs and a tracklisting and any press info/extra info I should know/anything your band would want plugged.
I checked out mp3s of bands recommended and there's some great stuff, but I need high quality recordings for airplay. It can be any genre. I usually promote UK/USA independent records, but I'm keen to play more from the south. At the end of the year I played bands like Fred, (who soon after played @ Radar Live, QUB SU) Give A Man A Kick and Groom.
Queen's Radio is closed at the moment so all you gotta do is email me and I'll send you my address. I'm heading away to USA for a month mid-January so I'd need to receive it before then. ie. email me and send me it this week!
The station will be on 1134 Medium Wave (or AM) in Belfast launching 6th February 2006 and my show will be on the Friday 7-9pm.
