I'm dealing with Currys / Knowhow at the moment, and so far so good.
I left my laptop in with them about 2 weeks ago. bought it about 4 years ago and recently it's been emitting a wheezing fucking white noise not unlike comet 67P, is generally sluggish and is prone to conking out. Anywhoo..got a call from them 2 days ago to tell me what the problems are, what needs to be done and how much it will cost. So gave them the go-ahead and paid as requested so that repairs can continue. They say it'll be another 3-5 days before it's back in the shop in Dublin for me to collect.
Hopefully it'll be sorted.

Up until about 3 versions of OS X ago, the Home and End commands used to be a three-finger up/down trackpad gesture, god knows why they nixed them. BetterTouchTool allows you to create custom gestures, handy for any repetitive keystroke actions. Home
