I am listening to the Tove Stryke album, it's pretty decent

between her and Tove Lo - Tove is a strong pop name this year. I think we need one more though.

yeah, its skirting the line between that and the more esoteric Scando-pop stuff. It picks up a little towards the end if I recall correctly. Based on a single listen I like it enough to listen again.

The new Iris DeMent album is beautiful - american country music crossed with bleak russian poetry. It's less country than her previous albums though. This is destined for all the best-of-2015 lists, I reckon.
