    Trash Polka Circus!!!

I went to see these lads with one of me mates at their show down here last night and they were fucking savage altogether! Crazy live band to watch. Definitely not as "punk" sounding as most of the stuff I like, but like Cormac said, if ya like the Pogues, Flogging Molly, Gogol Bordello etc...

Yeah the Galway show was class altogether! Really good craic. MDC were fantastic, Corpses best yet I reckon and same for Captain Spaulding-last night was by far the best I've ever seen 'em. Great sized crowd showed up too. Top gig!

Happy Restarts - copied from MySpace

This is after turning into a really interseting thread!! A lot of issues raised that I've been thinking about lately. Must say I really agree completely with this post: Without a doubt the vast majority of these kids have fuck all real interest in Punk (or whatever "alternative" music style...

Galway gig on Sunday night was savage!!!!! OFAC sounded amazing as always and the Mingers were just fucking deadly altogether, definitely better live than on the cd alright I think. So great to see the crowd just erupting like that too-and the bouncers letting us away with it!! Ghundi were...

  14. GUILTY!

    the Oi! thread

These lads are kinda more street rock punk than Oi per se (for all you nerds who distinguish lol). They're fairly good, but I'm only really postin 'em coz jesus, I just noticed they're after gettin the one and only Beano in on drums for 'em. Lucky bastard...
  15. GUILTY!

    the Oi! thread

Couldn't agree more. Oxymoron are definitely onea my favourite bands ever. Personally think feed the breed tops this one slightly, but everything they ever did is hands down fantastic, dodgy early lyrics and all :). Can't believe they played Dublin, ah if only I hadn't been about 8 and more into...
  16. GUILTY!

    whats punk?

While the bit about copying others not being punk is grand, I personally don't get what the fuck was punk about kicking over a trash can in the first place. Ah well, guess I'm just not punk enough. Read it before though, 'twas that twat outta Greenday who first said it so I guess he should know...
  17. GUILTY!

    the Oi! thread

Here lads, any of ye hear about this "Brittany Oi fest" job in may? It's on here: www.breizhwankers.com I'm sorta half considerin goin. Couple of great bands, I'd be mainly goin for Discipline (sickeningly missed 'em at Rebellion fest coz they were on at the same time as Conflict! ), the...

    Moral Dilemma!

Saw these lads supporting the Unseen in London a while back, Feckin' savage!!!! If they don't get gigs anywhere else I'll be headin down to Clonmel for sure! In other vaguely half-interesting Punk rock trivia news, their bass player is going out with Darragh Restart.
