For years I always had at least 30-40 records I hadn't finished listening to that had never been filed away.
Finally I have it down to just one LP I'm playing + five LPs I haven't opened yet.
The downside is I have nearly 20 CDs on the go at mo'.

Better go to sleep. I haven't been awake this late for a long time.

I was awake really late when I last posted - Israel had started bombing Iran that night.
Anyway after getting home 3 am yesterday I didn't wake up until 10 am yesterday and then fell asleep for about 4 hours in chair yesterday evening before finally going to bed.
Today was weird. I woke up 8 am today but can hardly remember anything before 8:30 pm tonight as I was asleep most of the day.

People complain about punters who go to gigs & spend most of the time recording it on their phone & upload it to YouTube. But..... fair play to them. You can get to see stuff you didn't / couldn't / wouldn't go to. I just watched loads of clips of gbh playing in Whelan's recently. Not my kind of thing....but good to see an old punky gig & the drummer smashing the shit out of those drums.

So after feeling sick and tired since Saturday. I did enough to cleaning to keep my head above water but the house wasn't vacuumed for 10 days apart from my own bedroom (gotta keep the dust off the records).
So I HAD to vacuum and mop the floor first thing this morning but at least no one else was here.
Most of the place was grand but the entrance hall was the worst for a while.
I got pissed off and moaned to myself about all the unnecessary mats and other junk I had to move. I was in a serious huff doing this. "This isn't going to get into this state again, I'm putting my foot down with these folks this time" (I often think this but almost never say anything).
Anyway after getting the most annoyed by cleaning for a long time it was finished and I just felt happy it was done instead.
This might give you a good idea why I don't have a job.

I put far more effort into cleaning the house than any other work, including looking after myself.

I was taking the wrong psych meds for 12 days until Thursday.
Pharmacy gave me wrong stuff - put box in sealed bag and said it was a generic.
I queried this before I began taking tablets several days later. Miscommunication wrongly gave OK. I thought they knew it different formulation - they didn't.
No regular meds in stock Saturday. I have to wait until Monday.

I shoulda put my foot down immediately. The second opinion on whether to take the meds came from someone else who never heard of Olanzapine and to Google it and got wrong info.
A lot of the problem is the pharmacy being 7 miles away. It takes about 90 minutes round trip on bus. So IMO if the mess up they should have pay for a taxi to bring me the meds!

Today I went to the same town to get photo copied posters made for a fundraiser then I had to go 7 miles the other direction to distribute them. I was supposed to do this on Tuesday and Wednesday - but I felt shit.

I was in Silverstone today. In the Paddock. Rarified as you might imagine, and all the cars had long gone, but my inner seven year old was quite happy. It was MASSIVE.
As we left, our driver set off his car alarm.
"'kin hell. Let's all go to Silverstone and rob a Dacia!"

I was pleased with myself anyway.

Just discovered that buddy's farmers market in ballymun is much expanded. Nice coffee shop and bakery here too now.
