Yeah it's great. I think Yann does another band with two or three hurdies. Maybe Jericho. If I dig out the Quietus hurdy article it's in that along with a France album.
PS I'm nearly finished making a drone/doom/rock/metal album that features a heap of hurdy.

Baby Huey - Listen to Me (1970)
I knew the name, saw the cool album cover photo and knew some of the samples but never put it all together and checked out who this brother was.
Baby Huey (1944 -1970) died before his first and only album came out.
Amazing psychedelic soul with awesome singing and stellar musicians.

Also discovered this tonight played between bands at a gig. I'm amazed I never heard this one before.
Scottish post punk was famous for its love of melody but this EP from 1979 is slightly more off kilter. The first song is brilliant.
