It'd make a difference if we were in some European Countries and people would make up their mind one way or the other. In Germany for example they take taxes from you based upon your religion to go straight towards your church based upon your entry into the last census. That's efficiency for you

I did a one off zine years ago called blasphemer, part of which was me emailing and writing to about 100 priests to see what the lie of the land was for being de-registered. Their answers varied greatly and none of them really seemed to be able to give me a definitive answer. Some said I had to go to the parish I was baptised in which would've been Lucan, some sort I had to go to the parish I made my communion/confirmation in which would be kldare, and some said that getting myself de-baptised or stricken off the record was not needed to leave the church as my lack of belief had meant I already did.

Basically none of them know shit.
