You can also pick up a special 12″ single on the day, featuring all four of the acts. The gig is presented by Nialler9 and Seven Quarters, as part of MusicTown 2019.

Pillow Queens – charming melodic indie-rock with a Dublin slant.
Squarehead – Junk pop rock from Dublin trio.
God Knows – Limerick MC solo show (Rusangano Family)
Tebi Rex – Maynooth R&B, pop and hip-hop duo

The important bits:

  • No alcohol will be served.
  • Under 18s don’t need to be accompanied by a guardian
  • It’s open to all ages from the age of 14 upwards to any age

Dublin Is Sound is a 14s+ daytime gig on Record Store Day featuring performances from some of Ireland’s best acts including Pillow Queens, Squarehead, God Knows (Rusangano Family) and Tebi Rex.

The gig will give those who are 14 years of age plus the opportunity to witness four of Ireland’s best new music acts and to start their vinyl collection. Advance ticketbuyers will receive a limited edition 12″ vinyl record on the day featuring tracks from the acts. The vinyl is pressed in the city by Dublin Vinyl with specially-designed artwork by Dublin based designer Ruan Van Vliet in response to the music.
