The Young Hearts Run Free collective send word of their next event, for World Book Night on Monday 23rd April, with performances from Mike Stevens, Ian Maleney, Aidan Wall & Margie Lewis.
Just a short note to let you know we will be doing a little thing for World Book Night – Monday 23rd April, 2012. In the afternoon, we will be depositing copies of Dodie Smith’s frothy, but philosophical rambling 1950’s novel I Capture the Castle around the city, and then later, from 9pm, be retiring to that lovely spot, The Parlour in Whelans to continue our book-giving endeavours (lucky dip), and also welcome various musicians that we asked to pen a song based around the phrase/idea of I Capture the Castle, which will include;

with hopefully more to be added. As well as that, there will be DJ sets from YHRF, Joss Moorkens (Dudley Corporation), Niall McCormack (HiTone), and Peter Toomey.
