The next Young Hearts Run Free event is Lit By A Slanting Sun on September 8th when they’ll be bringing Porcelain Raft & Mossy Nolan to The Pearse Centre.
Hello Young Hearts,
just a note to let you know that our next night will be on Saturday 8th September, and we are delighted to welcome Porcelain Raft (Secretly Canadian) to Ireland as part of it. We are huge fans of his record Strange Weekend, and are very grateful that he is coming to us for the last night of his European tour, and helping to support the Simon Community in the process.
So we thought we would have him play an intimate show in The Pearse Centre (27 Pearse Street, Dublin 2), which is just lovely, and have Mossy Nolan support.
We will also provide sandwiches, minerals, and cake (hope no-one’s bored of the cake bit yet), and Dungarvan and Eight Degrees microbreweries are kindly contributing some tipples (so you don’t have to worry about all of that), and there will be another special guest to be announced, and a little aftershow at a cosy pub with a few of us playing records afterwards – we’ll send on details of that, nearer the time.

Things will begin at 7.30pm, with the first performance at 8.30pm, and Porcelain Raft will be on around 9.30pmish – and there will be a short interval as well, and lots of fairy lights.
