We Cut Corners release their new single ‘YKK’ on November 25th, the first ahead of their new album due in early 2014. The single will be available to stream and for digital download from the iTunes store amongst others.

They’ve also confirmed a headline date at The Workman’s Club, Dublin on Friday November 29th. Shows at CMJ in New York in October and further dates in the UK and Ireland in November and December (dates below) will wrap up 2013 for the harmonic duo.

We Cut Corners write short songs on drums and guitar, eschewing the blues-rock stylings beloved of other two-pieces in favour of lyrically dextrous, start-stop/rock-pop. The critically acclaimed debut album ‘Today I Realised I Could Go Home Backwards’ was nominated for the Choice Music Prize for Irish album of the year. We Cut Corners have toured with The Maccabee, Villagers and Frightened Rabbit amongst others.
