Spilly Walker
Distilling 30 years of electronic dance music, Spilly Walker’s songs are rich in sonic texture and filtered with a melodic pop sensibility. The tunes are speckled with hints of influences from a vast spectrum of music that they, brothers David and Robbie, love. Classic house, hip hop and electronica are all filtered through the Spilly song-writing machine in a subtly original way that brings to mind Arthur Russell’s transformative mini masterpieces of sound. The live sounds of Spilly are something to be experienced. Spilly brings the love they have for songs that inspire them, and communicate it with energy, through emotive melody, in a energetic live setting.

School Tour:
Solar flaring cold casio wave from Mt. Errigal. School Tour is the solo project of Gerard Duffy (Children Under Hoof, Patrick Kelleher & His Cold Dead Hands). S.T. was the only non-UK act to play Upset the Rhythm’s “Yes Way” festival in 2010 and has opened for acts like John Maus, Hype Williams, Lucky Dragons & Stellar OM Source. A third EP and a debut album are in the works for 2012.
