Not Squares will launch their new album Bolts with a gig in the Grand Social on Friday, April 10th
Bolts will be available on vinyl on the night, with a digital release on April 27th. Special guest DJ for the evening will be Le Galaxie‘s Le Michael Galaxie (from Le Galaxie).
Synthwave act Not Squares formed in 2008 in Belfast. They have recently toured in Japan with Miaou in Nov 2011. In the past they have played Reading, Leeds and Latitude festivals on BBC Introducing stages, recorded a BBC Radio 1 session at Maidavale Studios for Huw Stephens and have toured Ireland with Two Door Cinema Club, The Cast of Cheers and shared UK festival stages with Hercules and Love Affair, Gold Panda and TEED at Evolution and Glastonbury.
Their debut album ‘Yeah OK’ was released on November 29th 2010 on Dublin’s Richter Collective.
