No Monster Club will be joined by Tieranniesaur, Panda Kid and Skelocrats for a BYOB gig at Prussia Street Community Arts on Friday December 7th.
As well as the four bands on the bill there’ll be a picnic area, a party bus and a cabin with an open fire – BYOC (chestnuts).
No Monster Club is a surf rock/bubblegum pop/lo-fi indie band, based in Dublin, Ireland. They have released fifteen records (on labels based in America, Ireland, Italy, Holland, The UK, Australia and Spain) and shared a stage with the likes of Ariel Pink, So Cow, Sic Alps, Squarehead, Panda Kid, Jeff The Brotherhood, Wavves, Girls Names, Abe Vigoda and HEALTH. 2012 saw the release of the 12″ LP ‘Dublin’, and a 46 track cassette entitled ‘Posthumous Hits’.

They are currently working on the follow-up to their acclaimed debut album, which was nominated for the 2011 Choice Music Prize.

Panda Kid, aka All from Vicenza, Italy, is a Garage songwriter with a dirty, super fuzzy sound. He is a strange combination of pop folk garage punk surf music with an amazing look from the 80′s era with psychedelic sound too. A strange crash between California and Mississippi, Sonic Youth and John Hurt! Last year, he released a split EP with No Monster Club, and together they played some Italian shows during the summer. Originally a one man band, Panda Kid’s debut Irish performance will see a three man band take to the stage!

Skelocratsare a four piece pop band who will be releasing their debut album on the day of this show! They have so far released one free-to-download EP, entitled Whip Crack Away, which has been likened to something “put together in a shed over the weekend and recorded onto a Dictaphone wielded by a sugared-up toddler”.
