An album, Laserdisc Nights 2, that sounded out with an iridescent salute of synths and guitar boosted by beating rhythms and rousing vocals, went straight to the core of Irish music on its release in 2011, voted #1 Irish Album of the year by Entertainment.ie

In 2012 alone Le Galaxie delivered to high expectations with stunning sets at the Berlin Music Festival, Electric Picnic, Forbidden Fruit and Heineken’s Live Project along with a headline show at the renowned industry showcase HWCH. As well as releasing an acclaimed new EP, Fade 2 Forever, and selling out venues close to lightspeed, Le Galaxie were shortlisted as the Irish Times’ best Irish band of 2012.
