The Grand Social celebrates its 2nd birthday with a top weekend of local and international acts, kicking off on Friday November 2nd with the super stylish, charismatic Circus Swing of Londoner Gabby Young and her 7 piece band Other Animals who meld jazz, folk, gypsy and pop into an irresistable sound.
Headlining on Saturdays party is double Choice Award winner and one of Irelands most cutting edge artists, Jape. Playing his only Dublin show until next year Jape will be showcasing new material that has been aired on recent tours in Australia and Europe. Flying in from New York to help blow out the candles on the cake late into the night is deep house dj/producer and Retrofit label boss Jay Shepheard for his debut show in Ireland.
Voted by musicians and public alike as Dublins IMRO Venue Of The Year 2011 The Grand Social continues to go from strength to strength with a solid program of local & international acts from all spheres of musical entertainment and top class DJ nights.
