Discover Ireland With Heathers’ “Remember When”

Just in case you’ve seen the ad and were wondering where you knew the music from, the soundtrack for Fáilte Ireland’s new TV & cinema ad campaign is Heathers‘ “Remember When”.

20 year old twin sisters Ellie and Louise MacNamara, aka Heathers, can expect to become household names throughout Ireland over the comings months with the news that their track, ‘Remember When’, has been selected for Failte Ireland’s brand new advertising campaign to promote holidaying at home within the Irish market. The campaign, ‘The Fun Starts Here’, which is the biggest ever advertising campaign carried out by Fáilte Ireland, hit Irish TV screens this week after receiving its first showing in Cinemas across Ireland last Friday 5th March.

Taken from Heathers’ debut album, ‘Here, Not There’ which they recorded while also preparing for their Leaving Certificate in 2008, ‘Remember When’ is a punchy, upbeat track with poetic lyrics typical of the twin sisters. As such, it represents the perfect choice for the new Failte Ireland campaign which aims to position Ireland as a fun, exciting, enriching holiday destination.

Heathers have recently re-released their debut album Here, Not There on their own Aunthill Records label that they set up in January, and there’s a new LP expected this year too. To coincide with the ad campaign, they’ve also released Remember When as a digital download from iTunes.
