After a year off, Demented Fest returns for 2010 with 14 bands spread across two days in September. So that’s Heathers, Famine, The Blind, Frustration & 10 other bands for €5 a day? Bargain. xMac Kellx from Demented says:

After not being able to do Demented Fest in 2009, I’m so happy to be able to do it in 2010. Demented Fest 2008 was incredible and this year’s fest will be the same if not better. It’s 14 local bands and one hell of a weekend for only €10 with half of the profits being shared equally amoung the bands playing. Demented started off in February of 2006 by doing local shows and although Demented now does touring bands I’m under no illusions that without the support, help and talent from the Dublin scene, I wouldn’t have been able to promote so many bands and put on so many incredible shows in such a short period of time. This is a celebration of just some of the amazing bands that are on the go and above all else, it’s going to be a good fucking time. If you know someone who’s been on the fence about local music or has just lost touch in the last while, get them down to The Pint on September 18th and 19th so they can see just what they’re missing out on.
