Somadrone’s set will feature 3D visuals from M&E Design, with 3D glasses provided on the night. He’ll be joined by Twin Kranes and Patrick Kelleher. You can hear the album in full streaming over at nialler9.com and it’s available to buy from Elastic Witch right now.

Somadrone has been making electronic music since 1997. A member of Dublin’s cult band, The Redneck Manifesto, Somadrone has produced 4 records and has toured in both Europe and the US. His last record, Depth of Field received critical acclaim and was compared to the likes of Ryuichi Sakamoto, David Sylvian and Brian Eno.

The First Wave was recorded between 2010-2013 in San Francisco, Dublin and Brooklyn. The record incorporates analogue drum machines, synthesizers, guitar and vocals that results in a cross-pollinating, genre-less, electronic sound-scape.
