Mark Ronson and The Business Intl are heading to Sligo for a Heineken Green Spheres show on October 27th & we’ve got a couple of tickets to give away.
Talented producer turned entertainer Mark Ronson confirms a Heineken Green Spheres appearance in The Clarence, Sligo on Wednesday, October 27th. The Grammy award winning artist will be joined by his band, The Business Intl for a highly anticipated visit to the green isle marking his first Heineken Green Spheres performance.
With his finger in many pies; internationally renowned as one of the world’s finest DJs; producer du jour; solo artist; band leader and label boss, Mark Ronson first hit the headlines for his work bringing Amy Winehouse, Lilly Allen and Adele to pop superstardom. Since those days creating some of the most defining sounds of the mid noughties he has gone on to carve out a very successful solo career too. 2007’s ‘Version’ album saw him create 70’s/Motown inspired covers of hits by the likes of Radiohead, Coldplay and The Smiths and saw him score three top ten hits and a BRIT award. The following year saw single ‘Valerie’ become one of the biggest selling songs in 2008, still top 100 in airplay three years later. Fast forward to today and newest singles Bang Bang Bang and The Bike Song taken from current album Record Collection are receiving great airplay.
Mark Ronson and The Business Intl will play The Clarence, Sligo on October 27th.for Heineken Green Spheres, the music series that takes its inspiration from another dimension and has recently played host to White Lies, Passion Pit, Foals and Marina and the Diamonds. The addition of Mark Ronson and The Business Intl is another star to add to the series’ solar system of stellar acts.
