Check out the "i fell in love with a dead boy" single. the two cover tracks- one of david lynch + julie cruise's "mysteries of love" and current 93's "soft black stars"- are possibly the best things he (and they) have ever done.

this year i really got into daniel johnston, only have 5 or 6 but hes a genius....better to discover late than never....
the mendoza lines 2 albums that i have are blowing me away...
sufjan stevens....
also only got into the kinks....very late...
Of montreal..only have the one album but its good...
and after taking ages to get into i'mreally liking the mountain goats and am looking forward to divulging into their back catologue in 2005....
joanna newsom....still getting into it but theres a few amazing ones..

can't remember off hand what else ......
