Downstairs in Bruxelles was divided between metalers and trendies

I'm guessing the trendies used different terms

Is it not still like that? I can't remember the last time I was there but the downstairs was definitely "norms" to the left and metallers to the right (in relation to the front door of the place).

Is it?
I didn't think there still were metallers.
I'd only ever go downstairs to use the jacks now anyway.

Quinns in Ellen Street in Limerick was pretty evenly divided between indie kids, metalers/bikers and gays. Never a problem.
Fibbers always had a section of the night dedicated to The Cure, Smiths, REM, etc 80's alternative stuff, trendies used to suddenly appear from nowhere dance like loons then disappear into the walls when Panthera came on again.
