wiring a guitar cab (2 Viewers)

So I put 2 8ohm speakers into a 2x12 cab. I connected the input jack to the left speaker, then the left speaker to the right speaker. What impedence is it now? Been looking for answers on the net, but can't really find a straight answer anywhere

sounds like they are in series:

so 8+8=16 ohm overall.

if you put them in parallel you can get 1/r=(1/8 + 1/8)= 1/4 --> 4 ohm overall.
