I opened my curtains in my old house once and the crazy old landlord was standing there washing the outside of our windows with a filthy mop. He thought this was totally normal. That was pretty weird.

There was an almost full litre of gin in my new house when I moved in there. That, to me was hella weird but brilliant. Would've been better if it wasn't Gordons, but it got me drunk. Done the trick.

One place had footprints burned into the inside of the bathroom door. Weirded me out a little, but not as much as when (in another place) i pulled out the couch and there was a section that was unpainted and covered in child's drawings. That place was karmically fucked though, loads of bad shit happened in there.

i think the weirdest thing somebody could find in a new place would be a shrine to them, replete with surveillance photos and a detailed plan for convincing them to move in.
