look after the junkies, the malingerers, the alcos and the wasters with nothing better to be doing, before looking after the "urgent" cases

The only junkie I'm acquainted with spent 5 days on a trolley in the Mater puking blood after an "incident" during the autumn. And then got sent home without treatment, and without the visit from the liver specialist he was told he needed. Didn't seem like priority treatment to me
