What's the best sandwich you make?

I have a hot roast beef sandwich that everyone loves. It's quick and easy.

Select Roast Beef
Mozarella slices
Lettuce
Tomato slices
Thin-sliced onions (optional)
prepared horseradish
mayo
hamburger buns or wheat bread slices if you must

Mix enough mayo and horseradish together to spread on sandwiches. Proportions are 1 Tbsp mayo to 1/4 tsp horseradish. Change to suit your taste.
Toast the bread. While waiting, spread the roast beef on a plate about the thickness you want in the sandwich. Top with mozarella slices. Microwave for 30 seconds, or long enough for the cheese to melt.

Spread horseradish sauce on toasted bread. Add beef with melted cheese. Top with lettuce, tomato, and onion.

Serve with crisps or chips

can you make a yummy noise

why ruin a good sandwich with mayonaise and cheese????? ive never understood this. i hate all cheese and condiments. ketchup makes me sick, as does brown sauce, mayonaise etc etc. i can just about handle mustard. cheese is just disgusting. i suppose if everyone liked the same things life would be boring etc. well everyone doesnt like the same things and life is still boring.

hot roast beef, salad, onions, butter, crusty roll. thats a nice sandwich.

how do you stand on neck cheese?

A good sandwich must have relish.

Remember seeing a good tip about sandwiches on one of those cookery programme.
The idea was to put little dollops of mustard or relish or salsa here and there around the sandwich.
The effect this will have is when you're eating it, you'll get these little bursts of taste every now and then.

But yeah. Some kind of relish must be in the sandwich. If not, then it's nothing more than swill.

well we'll just add a bit of flipping relish in there then! maybe smooth it on the beef before you put the cheese on and then into the microwave

Peanut butter and blackcurrant jam
Peanut butter and hot lime pickle
Butter and sugar (this one is not true)

microwaves induce horrendous karma in a sandwich.

heres my favourite.

1 x superquinn roll (really deep to allow loads of ingredients)
some basil
some rocket
1 clove of garlic
1/2 a red onion
some mushrooms
some green olives
plenty of cherry tomatoes
some yellow peppers
loads of freshly ground black pepper & a little bit of salt
lashings of simply delicious organic meditaranean dressing (the red stuff)
cheese of your choice (swiss rocks, cheddar too, mozarella not so much)
dont skimp on the cheese

crush garlic into some olive oil and spread on the inside of the roll
pre heat the garlic/oil covered roll in the oven.
lash everything else in - dressing first (cheese goes on top - very important)
more dressing on top to finish
roll in tin foil and heat in oven for about 10-15 mins.

serve with king cheese and onion crisps and good coffee.

great hot and even better a couple of hours later for dinner when all the ingredients have been given the time to get intimate.

its like a crispy pizza in a roll. fucking ooooolicious. whens dinner?

best sandwich ever, from the bottom up:
bread
butter

add lots of cheese to this or substitute cheese& onion crisps for salt&vinegar/ ready salted. champion.

ps mayo is foul.

Best sambidge imho is peanut butter. The bread must be extra fresh though. Mmmmm. Yiz can feck off with your "cheeese" and your cold meat. Bleugh. I'm really not a smbidge person actually. Unless it's a steak sambidge of course!
