Made these last night and they were pretty tasty.

1.5lbs minced beef
1.5lbs minced pork
4 Tbs bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 Cup Parmesan
6 cloves garlic minced
handful fresh basil
couple of tablespoons of oregano
salt
ground black pepper

browned in olive oil and fucked into a nice tomato sauce
tomatoes, puree, garlic, onions, basil, oregano and olive oil.

cook it as long as you can. I had it on the heat for about 3 hours. let it rest, covered for 45 minutes.
onto spaghetti and top with loads of Parmesan.

made about a dozen 3in meatballs. have loads left for sandwiches today and will crumble some over a frozen pizza for lunch tomorrow.

Only thing I think I'd do different next time is let the meatball mixture sit for a day in the fridge to let the ingredients mingle a bit more.
