a few years after 1997, Portillo losing his seat was voted in the greatest TV moments ever by Channel 4 viewers maybe even got in the top 20 if I remember correctly.
seems like ancient history now, what with Tony Blair turning into a war criminal and all.

We stayed in "The Generator" once and the only thing that stood out was when my girlfriend walked past a group of young men sitting in a hallway dressed only in small towels, one of whom had his balls out and stuck to the floor. I think it was some sort of mating ritual.

She reacted like she's seen a rattlesnake and would have clutched her pears if she'd been wearing them
