Yep, loved it. Elizabeth Moss and Peter Mullan are fantastic in it. Beautifully shot and a real Twin Peaks vibe off it.

Both excellent. Top of The Lake is a character study disguised as a detective mystery and the opposite is true of The Fall really. Both well worth seeing.

I don't care about gender roles, I find the whole concept tiresome so i didn't notice or if I did I just blocked that out completely. The characters in both are well written and so well preformed that I was more interested in them rather than anything else.
