It's all tapes tonight:

A black metal mixtape a mate made for me, called A Drop of The Black Stuff. Some daft song titles - "Piercing where they might"; "Cursed be the memory of Light"; "Cut their grain and place fire therein". The tape features Burzum, Wolves in the Throne Room and the wonderfully named Lurker of Chalice. Ha ha. Some good stuff thereon.

"The feeding of the 2,079,211" - An Idwal Fisher tape compilation of west yorkshire residents. Some bizarro stuff from Filthy Turd and Smell and Quim; and noise from the amazingly named Ocelocelot. I bought it because it also has a tracks by two of my favourites - Astral Social Club and Ashtray Navigations.

I've got some more tapes lined up - one from Cloudland Canyon, and another from some Finnish dude who is in Avarus.

where did you get the sarc gig?

i have clean sounding recording of the '04 set (set 1 lost alas) and a really muddy recording of both '07 sets. had to use the built in mic on the archos so when the motor revs inside it sounds like someone's hoovering... but it's the only version i know of.

happy to send you the '04 set (and the '07s if you like, but be aware that it's only good as a memento of the gig)
