Over the weekend I watched 'Tell no one' - pretty good french thriller which keeps you guessing
'The Enigma of Kasper Hauser' in the IFI, as part of the German Film season - Lovely, lovely film.
and last night - The last King of Scotland, which I was enjoying until i fell asleep.

Rescue Dawn. the performances were better than the film. I feel sorry for Steve Zahn, he'll probably never do better work and most people will never see it.

Christian Bale will destroy his body some day.

watched (most of) Empire Of The Sun last night. He hasn't changed a bit.

Watched 'Wild Strawberries' on DVD at the weekend. Maybe I was a bit too tired to watch a film like that but it didn't really have the emotional power i was expecting.

night before last we watched jim jarmuch's Down By Law with Tom Waits n stuff.
really well done and the actin was top notch.
actually, really enjoyed. some hilarious moments in it!

last night we watched a Herzog Documentary called 'Ecstasy of The Woodcarver' - bout a 1970s ski-jumper from germany. pretty good. bit overly-atry but some great bits in it.
