Haven't seen a bad film yet based on a Robert E. Howard character, containing a crucifixion scene and starring Max von Sydow.

A real treat, Brilliantly made beautiful and tender. Think of a swedish Angelas Ashes with a camera but way better. Best film of the last year.

Weird, very understated film about a serial killer in a London. Its depressing but noth without humor - its more like a slice of the killers life (obviously inspired by Dennis Nilsen) rather than a contained story...Worth watching..

I watched the Hangover last night, a couple of funny bits but jaysus it wasn't great.

Saw the hangover last night. I thought it was decent enough. Some good moments but seemed a bit rushed. How many times did we need to hear them asking what the fuck was going on?
Best lol was the wedding band at the end.

The Informant - Really liked this. Great story, performances and visual tone. Just very entertaining.



Rec 2 - Some nice set pieces but overall pretty tedious. Didn't give a fuck about any of the characters.



The House of the devil - Good, straight faced and faithful homage to 79s and 80s horror with a satanic cult flavour. Builds wonderfully but loses it a little once the madness truly gets going towards the end
