Great stuff. Also nice to see that being in space doesn't stop Sam Rockwell showing his ass off. (He must have it put into his contract or something at this stage)

Saw this tonight in the IFI, with a Duncan Jones Q&A afterwards.

Deadly movie. Highlight = "wait... was that Douglas Reynholm?"

Dominique McElligott was at the Q&A too. Swit swoo.

Came home and watched Coraline. Not half as creepy as the book.

Then i lasted about 15 minutes of the Hannah Montana movie. Cry.

I watched Moon on Friday night. Good movie. I thought the gravity was a bit dumb though. Like he's in the space buggy and it's normal earth gravity and then he opens the hatch and he's bouncing around like Neil Armstrong.

Could the whole episode with the 'clone' could have been Sam Bell's Peyton Farquhar-like dream as he lay dying in the buggy?

that was asked at the Q&A. the answer:

it's like that because IT'S A FIVE MILLION DOLLAR INDEPENDENT MOVIE!!!

his emphasis.

Charlie Bartlett - pretty good, haate kat dennings and her stupid annoying gothy face, but anton yelchin is pure lovely jailbait.

La Belle Personne - Haven't quite made up my mind, but the cast is gloriously attractive.

the last scene in red was amazing but about 3 seconds too long.

Saw this on Sunday night, mad stuff. Seriously recommend it to almost anyone, not for people who are easily offended or easily disturbed. It's by far one of the best pieces of visual art I have ever seen.

Over the long weekend I saw the following classics

The old woman beside me managed to look at the screen during Patricia Arquette getting beaten up, the spider head scene in The Thing and Luke Wilson attempting suicide.
