I really didn't have much hope for this but it was in my Capra boxset so I thought I'd give it a go.
B&W 'screwball' comedies wouldn't normally be something I'd be drawn to, but this was very enjoyable.
Lots of laughs and two fantastic lead performances, particularly Colbert.
Racier than you would expect from 1934, probably pre-Hays Code.

Fantastic doco on how gay and lesbian charactcers and issues were dealth with in 20th century cinema.
I hadn't seen it since it was released about 10 years ago.
Excellent stuff.

Busy enough prequel.
There's a lot to like, and plenty to pick holes in too.
Danny Huston, Liev Schrieber and Ryan Reynolds for the former, meandering plot and patchy CGI for the latter.

They took everyone's phone off them before the screening.
I wish they'd do that at every movie.

Pure absolute BOLLOCKS! I can't believe I actually watched the whole thing through, it was like violent hungover diarrhoea for your eyes.
Definitely has my vote for worst film in existence. And please take my advice, and DO NOT watch it nor look for it.
Turkish Star Wars is better than this garbage, and that's saying a lot.
