just reading this thread and thinking about some of the films mentioned has got me all choked up. i will cry at almost anything, but i think i can trace that back to watching don bluth films as a kid - all dogs go to heaven, land before time etc. I once got caught crying at work, watching a trailer for a darfur documentry online.

I think i was on a real downer bout of depression when i caught 'Plague Dogs' but the film left me in bits. I'm not 100% why but i think the naivety of the characters in particular John Hurts one..

I'm not a light weight when it comes to films but this might of got me on a bad day but it still effcts me when i think about it....

On a more obvious track - THREADS is horrible and harrowing beyond belief.
