I was a huge fan of:
7%2BSeconds%2B-%2BOurselves%2B%5B1988%5D.jpg

I remember recording a whole side of a cassette with track 6 and listening to it over and over. I even wrote lyrics to it and did this ridiculous double exposure of kids jumping into a pool and an empty grave. I made it looked like the kids were jumping into the grave. Oh teenage angst and melodrama. Gotta love it.

i did not like that record. must check it out again and give it another chance.

Gary mentioned Drop Acid, another kevin seconds band, on another thread. Now they were SHIT.

I just bought it, I liked their last one so thought I'd pick it up. It's not bad on first full listen. I really like Bloodbuzz Ohio.

I think it's really good, renders the likes of interpol completely redundant. It's a bit self-important though, kinda reminds me of bands in 1999 trying to sound like radiohead by being completely humourless and only feeling 'important' emotions like 'wonder' and 'joy' and 'despair' and every song has to have a massive string section to add a bit of gravitas. But yeah, i'm listening to Everything Must Go right now so who am I to talk?

Anyone remember Moloney after midnight on 2FM. Must have been on the early 90's when he was on. He got me into Steely Dan.
"Tasty stuff indeed" as he would say.

Deftones-saturday night wrist. Cannot for the life of me, get into this album. never clicked, unlike pretty much everything else they've done.

such a brilliant CD, perfect Sunday material methinks

It's also kind of amazing that they're both still alive

For some reason I'm listening to the best of Terrorvision, they're better than I remember..... their mad hi-octane dance-rock at the end of their career is a bit deadly

Shneaky 6Pack, you'd love these songs

Continuing with my recent new found love of happy and very commercial pop songs... I'm digging this one. Very Vampire Weekend meets Rogue Wave meets The Drums kinda sound. I think it all the sun we've had this summer that's making me just want to listen to upbeat "indie" dance pop.

User who appreciates ridiculous attempts at commercialisation of a band's sound? Listen to the chorus man, it's deadly! And that novelty banjo riff, 'mazin!

Ahh the novelty banjo riff......last refuge of the uninspired
