The last Johnstons LP from 1972, which seems to have sank without trace as the internet barely knows it. It is a bit of turkey alright, but has its moments of Paul Brady excellence here and there.

I found his stuff by random hopping on last.fm, and it's very very very cool. He's got absolutely everything for free download on his myspace too, so yay peterloo. Prettymuch impossible to google as all you get is the peterloo massacre.

Snuff - Flibbidydibbidydop

Speaking of Snuff, I just downloaded 'Smile (that's fine)'. This is the very first time i've heard this song in decent quality, I used to listen to a taped from vinyl version of that song all the time back in the late 90's.

Now that I hear it, i'm beginning to wonder why I was so obsessed, good guitar riff I guess?

My favourite Snuff release is Potatoes & Melons at wholesale prices blah blah blah whatever the full title is

Because it's a great swinging tune is why you liked it so much.
But you can't be serious comparing Snuff phase 2 to the original Snuff? Nothing comes close to Snuffsaidcorblimey
Don't reply, just scuttle off in shame...

Phase two was good for 1 album and 1 EP.

the rest was hit or miss, generally miss.

But not the same league at all at all. Signing to that stupid pop punk label in America was the death of them. They became a caricature of themselves.
Anyway, I shouldn't be talking to you - you are officially shunned.

Dammit, I said it was my favourite, not their best. Their best is and forever will be Snuff Said

anyway, I consider those 2 releases to be on Deceptive Records (UK)

so shunned : (
