I was listening to this album last night.. I LOVE IT! Well..I LIKE IT! definitely .. I love her plummy tones and I like the delay effects on the guitar

I feel like I've heard absolutely everything before.. not just this.

All true.

I've noticed a number of the older generations of critics (e.g. Simon Reynolds, Neil Kulkarni) really digging them, I don't really get it myself and they're not explaining but there's clearly something that's clicking there.

Album is grand in a nostalgia kind of way. I imagine record number 2 will be hard to pull off.

The new Spotify singles are meh. When will that Academy gig be upgraded to bigger venue I wonder?

I learned As It Was just to play down the local, and man there's more to it than I would have thought. Chords are simple (IV ii V I) but the notes he's singing against those chords aren't what I'd expect

Listening to this at the moment. Its good in places. Very much lead by the vocals & lyrics...which can be a touch annoying. I think I'm a bit too old for this stuff.
