Really boring town, fuck all happening there when I was over last year. Go to Baltimore instead, short train trip away, few cool diy venues/gig ect. Think the Reptillian record's shop has closed though

If you are intending on doing touristy stuff like that then the Smithsonian Air And Space museum is great. Especially if you're in anyway nerdy. Free guided tours.

The FDR memorial is really cool too.

Baltimore's port area is lovely. Friendly town, whatever the wire says. Wasn't there a google maps washington punk project thing at one stage? That should have a load of info if you can find that.

Alternatively, get a cheap flight or bus down to Richmond, awesome punk town.
