I've heard the one dunlop make is the dogs bolox of volume pedals, but I've never used one.

You can get a brand X piece of shit one from from www.thomann.de for cheap.

i think you can use it like a controlled tremelo used in conjunction with a delay i thought one might achieve some trippy sounds .thats what i've decided any way just wondering if any one has used them.

no, it increases/decreases the physical volume of your giutar, thereby inversley adjusting the mass of you guitar so it becomes bigger or smaller, so it makes strange chords easier to play, or transforms yer guitar into a 6 string bass at the flickk of a switch. thurston moore used one at woodstock.

yes, its a volume control.
