I've been watching loads of episodes of ameoba record's what's in my bag?
The white rock and indie bands mostly pick a wide range of different music.
The black artists mostly pick music by other black artists.
There are exceptions of course.

not sure what Circle of Tone was trying to say but I never heard of Guthrie Govan and Post Malone until now.

one of the comments mentions going to see MESHUGGAH playing in Ireland as being a ''massive sausage party'' and points out they aren't popular here (Ireland must be the most un-metal country in Europe??).
But the same person said there were plenty of women at the Obscene Extreme grindcore fest in Czech - which is true.
it gets about 4,000 people and there's only vegan food onsite, the most laid back security folks I've ever seen and always more women playing than the grindcore genre would suggest.

Guthrie is no pin up but he's an incredible guitar player.
COT is just having a dig. Guthrie's music is not meant for the average teenage girl.
