Rivers Edge is a classic. Crispin is brilliant.
Tim Hunter went on to direct some of the more darker epasodes of Twin Peaks among other things.

Finally I got to see this. It's quite compelling. Robert Shaw. Those two old dogs were worryingly good. It's not as hidden as 'the Caretaker' but Wacky Willy directed it, so I'm sure he wanted some immediacy to the proceedings.

When they're walking him out in the end, I was thinking 'Jesus, this is like a regular nightmare for me. I've been destroyed and I can't do anything about it'.

aye, the "blind mans buff" sequence is one of my favourite film moments ever. patrick magee was amazing in it also. hmm, might give that a watch again later.
