Song Cycle is a queer album. At times I find it really enjoyable and at others mystifying. I don't think I've ever quite gotten to grips with it. My initial reaction is that it needs remastering or remixing or something. Mebbe i shud listen harder though... I have a complete love of his string arrangements.
