well, he has a nice voice, he probably deserved that little extra touch. :)

he sure does

you know, we always fuck up people's threads with our idle chatter

like, they were having a serious conversation about REM here and we just had to come busting in, talking shit

I'm pissed off with me

oh come on fella...

you only feel like that because spectraljanitor just posted something... it had gone splayeyed way before that...

you're like the Ballarina who holds up Pavo's belly

but you just keep letting it slip, ruining it for everyone

Chronic Town!

jasus, haven't heard that in years. i had it on knackered tape-of-tape-of-tape-of-original-vinyl, so i've only ever listened to it in amazing crackle-o-vision. has it been re-released?

its tacked onto the end of Dead Letter Office! :)

no, sorry guys

I...I just can't do this anymore

ther is serious conversation to be had...about REM!

boxcars....was there ever a better lyric?

I'm turning over a new leaf. No more BTF humour. No more locker-room hijinks. No more.

Only talk about music. Important stuff. Real stuff. Stuff that would make Michael Stipe proud.

Hag, it's been good

*schmack*

Pantone, you've always kept it real

*schmack*

Now.

ah fuck it. did you hear the one about Buddy Holly and Little Richard and the groupie?

Yesterday: expensive restaurants
Today: REM

What the fuck is this all about? Where the fuck did it all go so very wrong?

Pageant
Fables
Green/Out of time

I got Kim Deal's autograph in The Headline Bar, just before that Pixies gig in the National Stadium.
The next most famous person I have met is Richie Egan

I was in the Headline Bar after that gig, sweating like a bastard
£6 or something it cost although one of my friends paid £35 for a ticket outside which was a fortune we thought

and the Pale Saints .|..| that night

1. Reckoning - all the drone jangle of murmer, but with the rock!

2. New Adventures in Hi Fi - dark dark record

3. Green - the frist REM album I bought I could do the "Stand" dance

also feel free to discuss...

"REM - where did it all go wrong... then go right... then go wrong again"

1 Fables Of The Reconstruction
2 Automatic For The People
3 Document
4 Reckoning
5 Life's Rich Pageant

Then next would be Up, Monster and New Adventures in HiFi - all equally excellent

Murmur and Out of Time pretty good

Green and Reveal being the weakest

They've always been one of my favourites. First ones I bought were Life's Rich Pageant and Fables on the same day
only seen them live the once, the Green tour in the RDS which came around the time of my Matric (remember them?) exams

thats nothing, I shifted this girl in school, who years later went out with Damian from the Den. I mean basically I'm cool enough to pull a girl who later went out with Damian... ergo I am as cool as Damian from the Den. Q.E.D.

I was dissed by Ray Darcy on Blackboard Jungle, but they cut it from the show. Nowadays I see him in the street on an almost weekly basis, and almost every time I consider punching him out.

But it wouldn't be fair, as he's about 4 feet tall.

But did ya win a Discman and a set of Encyclopedias for your school?
