ahh funny you should mention that.... there's a "Subscription" option on this new vBulletin 5 that lets people subscribe (surprisingly enough)....

I wouldn't know anything about pop-up diallers, and I've never been called upon by panicky friends to get rid of them, and no friends of mine have ever run up 200 quid phone bills because of them.

hrmm server costs 40 quid a month
software costs a bit
my time - priceless

and it's not imaginary - it's all real ca$h money, dude

i have just over 2 hours left in work. so i'll start clicking those ads. Does it record IPs when clicking so that if you keep clicking the same ad you'll only get mullah for the 1st click?

Diallers are funny. One of me mates was puzzled by random phone calls made to satellite phones and such. They weren't that frequent at all but ti was pretty obvious that his da was looking up porn.

Which brings me to another point that made me laugh. well kinda. me flat-mate hounds (i.e. politely cold calls eircom customers) to buy their isdn & broadband. she was telling me last night about some tricky bastards who despite having about 300yo-yos of a dial-up bill refuse to get broadband. she usually asks what they use the internet for ...e-mail..surfing the net..business or personal...one guy with a really high bill said that he used it for child porn and then laughed. Who makes that kinda joke to an eircom member of staff?!

and i'm off for me break now.

repeatedly clicking them ads just makes them kick you off the service or not pay you or castrate you or something, so don't, ok?

i want my $5.60

no - out of yours

have you checked for your wallet lately?

maybe i shouldnt have sent you my credit card details so :(

there never really was a xxx-rated section to the site, was there? i just wanted to see the jimmy's snake..

40 quid sounds like a rip-off for hosting per month. did you shop around?

and fine. i won't click any more adverts! You can stick yer 5.60 up yer arse then!

$40 is ok, considering it's a full reseller account (with nothing resold) and we're doing over 10gb of traffic a month.
