without a doubt this act (Dance to Tipperary) have alot to answer for. Churning out shite renditions of traditional bullshit like there was no tomorrow. Guess what? - they ain't even Irish!
The people who brought you this tripe also brought you that Cd you see advertised on the box; best of irish clubland or the like.
Who buys this rubbish?

saw dance to tipperarary live on a floating stage on the liffey one paddy's day years ago...oh the memories

hahahaha I knew you would put up Screamadelica...

Still... It's deadly when yer trippin'

buh

Lou Bega: mambo no. 5
i hate this with a passion
however
it's easy to be shit - those records don't hurt half as much as a record that should be good.
my vote goes to 'songs from liquid days' by philip glass. words by interesting writers sung by (some) interesting singers, orchestrated by the bozo.
i used to torture myself with that album when i didn't meet personal goals.
that and 'tutu' by miles davis.

St. Anger by Metallica

"Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tock..."

I remember nearly wetting myself when I saw them doing that live at the MTV music awards... its was pure hilarity and also unsettlingly tragic.

Does "Splinter's Story" from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II soundtrack count... actually, Splinter rapping about his life before becoming a rat probably makes it one of the best tracks of all time? .|..|

bollocks. U2 have never made a truly outstanding album but each one does contain a few decent tracks with the exception of War

this is actually pretty good in a cynical, drug-addled way

not their best but a fucking good listen regardless

what about that Josh Ritter?
some of his stuff is stomach-churningly diarrhoea-ridden cack

There are some good songs on War.. Drowning Man is nice, Seconds has a decent bassline... I'm not going to defend them too much but saying that all U2 albums are among the worst ever made is pretty ridiculous. I have to agree with that opinion of Josh Ritter, anything I've heard by him has been monotone-o-riffic singer songwriter stew.
