Went to the village for the first time last night( Arthur Lee - Fucking fantacular). Sound was really good where i was, but apparantly it's not so great if you're at the back.

he got sent to prison for 10 years(served 6) for firearms offences. Allegedly fired a gun in the air during an argument with his neighbour, although supposedly it was his manager who did it. He got out about 2 years ago i think.

I was at Love too and what a fantastic show it was though I wish he'd play different songs for the encore. Wouldn't you love to hear "The Castle" with strings and horns? Disappointed with the venue though. I got myself a good spec up front early on but I felt sorry for anyone stuck behind the mixing desk. Also, having the stairs where everyone enters right beside the stage is madness. Why don't they admit people up the stairs on Wexford St?

PS Did you read the In Dublin article that Arthur denounced from the stage?
