I don't mind Benteke, both sides come out of this as winners.
Until Villa are languishing near the foot of the table in January and he tries the same shit again, doesn't get the move he wants, sulks til the end of the season none too secretly hoping they get relegated thusly activating his release clause. Mark my words.

He's got a World Cup side to get into ahead of Lukaku, any sulking won't help that. Nor will it help him get a move to a better side next summer, which is when I imagine both parties expect him to be sold.

Finishing 19th in the PL won't get him into the world cup either. I'd put a fiver on him getting out in January.

Benteke had the balls to actually hand in a transfer request. Fair play to him. Fair play to him for also realising he can change his mind. I'd rather that any day of the week, rather than that whinging in the papers and saying you're "flattered" by other cunts but not being man enough to forgo your "loyalty" payment.

The Stevie Gerrard thing is a bit funny. You're such a tool.

Arsenal fans are to thank for the Stevie G song.

He said virtually exactly that old rhetoric after he decided to stay.

He changed his mind because they came in and offered him a fucking fortune. If things aren't going his way he'll be on his bike again. It's the same with most players around this time of the year before a world cup, just like Jose was saying during the week Play regularly and you're in with a shot of a world cup place. Fellani for example any other season he'd have put in his papers and fucked off by now. But stay where he is, big fish in a small pond and he playes 35 games and walks onto the plane to Rio no problem.

Benteke on the other hand could play 30 odd matches and get piss poor service, score 2-3 goals and look dicey. If he moves to the right club he's grand. He tested the water, Arsenal didn't come in like a lightning bolt and now he's biding his time again. I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. The strikers that are good pros out there even if they aren't scoring they're still putting in the work. Jelavic had a mare in front of goal last season but you couldn't fault his effort. Even when Torres couldn't buy a goal he was still doing the right things. Benteke ? Time will tell.

100 million eurons for Bale?

Dear god. Now, that's overrated. Wouldn't be surprised if Ronaldo spat the dummy big time. He'd demand a 101 million euro move to France.

100 million is ridiculous. For me he's a bit of a one trick pony, That trick is hugely impressive but when a player like Phil Neville can successfully nullify him for 90 minutes it's not a good sign.

I think he'll struggle at Real to be honest. I don't think the PL is a great barometer of how good a player really is. It's an exciting league yes, but there's a focus on technique over guile in Spain the I don't think he'll adjust to as quickly as you might expect.

Ronaldo's a pretty good example he has changed massively from his days at United. He doesn't run blindly into corners the way he used to for a start, but at United that was seen as "taking the game to the opposition" in Spain they see it as idiotic.

It's pretty funny. I hope it happens. Some hacks believe it will set in motion Ronaldo's return to Old Trafford. Like they gonna spend 80 million on player.

Bale is no Ronaldo though. He's explosive alright. In many ways, he's perfect for the premier league, what with his physicality and all. in Spain midgets win the league.

100 million pounds sterling.

Kenny Samson is sleeping on a park bench. Alan Hudson is in a hostel. Ray Houghton can still talk. Football's gone bonkers. Man up! Whoops, sorry.
